Nova Scotia is postponing updates to the regulations under the Energy-efficient Appliances Act.

The scheduled implementation date of the Nova-Scotia "Energy-efficient Appliances Act" on solid fuel burning appliances (excluding cookstoves, central heating systems, masonry heater, and site-built fireplaces), originally set for October 1st, 2008, has now been postponed. Valcourt will keep you posted as we obtain more information on a revised implementation date.
